Are you looking for an in-office procedure or an at-home kit?
Mt. Baldy Dental Center has 3 different procedures to help fit your specific needs.
- Zoom!® chairside in-office procedure that expedites the results and sends you home with everything you need to do at-home touch-ups
- Zoom!® Express chairside in-office procedure for those that need just a couple shades lighter and don’t want to fuss with doing anything at home
- Zoom!® Delivered with custom trays & instructions delivered straight to your doorstep where you can brighten at your pace in the comfort of your home.
Here is a brief overview of the Zoom!® in-office procedure
- Days prior to the actual procedure the patient will come in to have impressions done for their take home bleach trays.
- The day of the procedure cheek retractors & cotton products will be placed to expose the entire surface of the teeth & gums.
- The gums will be painted or covered to reduce risk of the whitening gel getting on the gum tissue.
- The assistant will apply the whitening gel to the teeth.
- The halide light will then be applied to activate the gel. This specialized Zoom!® light can be positioned to work on all the teeth simultaneously.
- After 15 minutes, gel will be removed from the teeth and more gel applied to the teeth. This process will repeat 2-3 more times.
- The gel will be removed and mouth will be rinsed for the final time.
*You may notice your teeth losing some of their whiteness a couple days after an in-office teeth whitening. This is a normal reaction. The color change happens as your teeth recover from dehydration during the whitening process.
